This gives us a chance to connect and to discuss the birth of your baby and your feeding history. We can then decide on the next best step.

This typically lasts about an hour and a half. (If necessary, it can be done by zoom). It gives us a chance to assess any feeding issues and to come up with a plan to help. This might include

• Assessing latch and suck

• Oral assessment of the baby

• Managing milk supply

• Bottle feeding

• Issues like painful feeding, sore nipples and clogged ducts

• Pumping

Depending on the outcome of the assessment, I may recommend some oral exercises, simple bodywork that parents can do at home and /or Craniosacral therapy.

I typically follow up with a video call over the next few days to assess how things are going
